About Libera Vice
Independent Journalism
for a Free World
Founded on the belief that rigorous, independent journalism is the cornerstone of a functioning democracy, Libera Vice delivers fact-based reporting on the stories that define our era — without fear or favour.
Our Mission
Libera Vice was established to fill a critical gap in the global media landscape: a news organisation free from the pressures of commercial interests, government influence and partisan politics — one that exists solely to inform the public with accuracy, depth and integrity.
We report on the events that shape the world: politics, economics, conflict, climate, technology and culture. We do so through original reporting, rigorous investigation and thoughtful analysis — giving readers the context they need to understand not just what happened, but why it matters.
The name Libera Vice — "free voice" in Latin — reflects our founding commitment: that journalism at its best speaks truth without restriction, illuminates what power would prefer remain hidden, and gives voice to those who would otherwise go unheard.
"We are not neutral. We are committed to the truth — and the truth is never without consequence."— Charlotte Beaumont, Editor-in-Chief
Our Editorial Values
These principles guide every editorial decision we make.
Independence
Libera Vice is editorially independent. We accept no direction from government bodies, political parties or advertisers on what we report.
Verification
Every claim published on Libera Vice is verified against multiple independent sources. We do not publish unconfirmed information without clearly labelling it as such.
Global Reach
With correspondents across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas, we report from the ground — not from behind a desk.
Accountability
We hold power to account. Our investigations desk operates with full editorial protection and pursues stories wherever the evidence leads.
Fairness
We give all parties named in our reporting the opportunity to respond before publication. We correct errors quickly and transparently.
Source Protection
We protect confidential sources absolutely. Whistleblowers and journalists' sources are shielded under our strict editorial protocols.
